Mental Health Scare

The tortured artist.

Not just a stereotype,

A sadistic statistic.

An idea that,

Victimises,

Jeopdises,

Normalises,

And Romantices our pain.

Justifies our suicides.

Creativity doesn’t fit between the lines,

It doesn’t dance to logic’s reason or rhyme.

But it’s not the creatives,

That are broken. 

The ‘tortured artist’ mentality,

Can Van Gogh to hell.
